About

Our approach

We judge a job by whether it was safe, whether it met the specification, and whether the records are complete.

Approach

Safety, specification and the environment are one gate

A task at Edatm goes ahead when safety, security, health and environment each have a named control. If one is missing, the task waits. That rule applies to drilling, processing, mining support and the movement of hazardous goods.

  • The job pack includes environmental and safety controls before mobilisation.
  • Testing follows the agreed specification. A failed control stops the work.
  • People are expected to write things down and to say when a control is absent.

In practice

Five checks before a promise

We would rather describe a method than claim a result we cannot show.

  • Safety

Hazards of the site and of the product are named before people are sent.

  • Specification

Duty, quantity, standard and delivery point are written, not assumed.

  • Environment

Waste routes and sensitive neighbours are part of the method.

  • People

The crew is trained for the hazards of that job, not for a generic course title.

  • Estimates

A figure is labelled as measured, calculated or still unknown.

  • Close-out

Records are left in a form the customer can file.

On site

How a day is run

  1. 01

    Start

Permits, receptors and waste routes are confirmed.

  2. 02

    During

Work stays inside the written method.

  3. 03

    Stop

Anyone can halt a task when a control fails.

  4. 04

    Hand back

The site is left with the records agreed at the start.

Concerns are logged by a person

Safety or conduct concerns can be sent to info@edatm.com. They are not dropped into an unread folder.

  • Say what you saw and where.
  • Say whether people are still at risk.
  • You will get a human reply on a business day.

Send the specification, not a brochure request
