About

Organisation

The previous website spoke of a global organisation and of corporate advantages shared across businesses. What we can say plainly is this. Edatm groups its work so that upstream support, product supply and lower-carbon enquiries are handled by people who understand that brief. A customer should be able to see who is responsible for the job.

Organisation

Work is grouped by the job, not by a chart we cannot show

Edatm does not publish a headcount or an invented organisation diagram. People are assigned to a brief: commercial, technical, or the controls around safety and the environment.

  • Commercial staff take the enquiry and keep the specification in one place.
  • Technical staff judge whether the duty, the site and the method fit.
  • Operations integrity can stop a task when a required control is missing.

Who answers

A message has an owner

An enquiry is not left in a shared inbox without a name against it.

  • First reply

You hear whether we can take the work, or what is missing from the brief.

  • One thread

Quote, specification and later changes stay on the same enquiry.

  • Escalation

Safety, conduct or a failed control is handled by a person, not by a form alone.

Decisions

What has to be agreed

  1. 01

    Duty

The product, the service, or both, written so a third person could read it.

  2. 02

    Boundary

Which site, which documents, and what is outside the scope.

  3. 03

    Authority

Who can change the method, and who can stop the work.

  4. 04

    Record

What is kept, for how long, and who receives the copy.
