How to read a specification

What we expect in a product enquiry before we can answer it.

A useful enquiry names the product duty, the standard or the properties that matter, the quantity, the delivery point and the date. If a property must be certified, say which method.

We would rather ask a short list of questions than guess a grade. Numeric performance stays off the website until a datasheet is filed against that product. If you are comparing suppliers, ask each of them which claims are measured and which are descriptive. We will mark ours the same way.
