HSE policy

Edatm intends that people go home unharmed and that the environmental controls for a job are in place before work starts. This policy is a draft until the owner adopts it.

We will:

• Identify hazards for the specific site and task, including spills, fire, confined space, lifting, and contact with hazardous substances.
• Put controls in place and stop work when a required control is missing.
• Give people the information and training the task needs.
• Provide a way to report incidents and concerns without retaliation.
• Record incidents, investigate those that meet the threshold set by the owner, and act on the findings.
• Meet the health, safety and environmental law that applies to the site.

Responsibilities: Edward Hatman, Chief Executive, is accountable. Supervisors are responsible for the controls on their shift. Each person is responsible for stopping and speaking up when something is unsafe.
